Psalm 19:1,2 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
Dulcet sounds cascade softly as the sun languidly slides to its rest. Iridescent glows the moon as it takes its place in the night sky. Silvery filaments reach out to bless the somnolent creatures of the day as they nestle under the cashmere softness of the night.
Within my soul the cacophony of the days’ distractions drop away under the mellifluous murmur of the night. The finger of God brings a quiet hush as He touches my cheek. My soul is at rest.
