I left the previous post with the thought that the entire theme of the Bible is about a kingdom and the rightful ruler of that kingdom. I will begin this post with a scripture that continues this thought to its conclusion:
1 Corinthians 15:24-28 (Contemporary English Version)
Then after Christ has destroyed all powers and forces, the end will come, and he will give the kingdom to God the Father. Christ will rule until he puts all his enemies under his power, and the last enemy he destroys will be death. When the Scriptures say that he will put everything under his power, they don't include God. It was God who put everything under the power of Christ. After everything is under the power of God's Son, he will put himself under the power of God, who put everything under his Son's power. Then God will mean everything to everyone.
A revolution is taking place and we must not underestimate the shocking impact that Jesus had as He confronted powers and forces that were religious, political, natural and supernatural.
John declares in the 1st chapter of Mark that we need to "repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Then Jesus asks in Mark 1:17 “Follow me”.
Let’s follow Him through the eyes of Mark as he records for us the cosmic conflict and chaos of this coming kingdom and its radical impact. The world will never be the same.
